Saw the SF Hamilton last night. It was sort of like a Dead show, but past the groupie-ness, it remains a brilliant work of art–musical, dramatic, topical, emotional–vastly deserving of every accolade. I had tears in my eyes a good percentage of the time. Listen to it, if you haven’t, and see it if you can. How did I get tickets? Through Sophie, who subscribed to SHN a year ago just to be assured of a ticket. She was at our house, on the phone with SHN, and just happened to ask if there were tickets and sure enough, there they were, at face value, in the last row of the balcony. It pays to have smart kids!

Hamilton!!
